Saturday, 16 April 2011 01:59It's now 4:43PM already. Tuition just ended. Bought French fries home. Super nice :)Ok. Shall talk about competition day. Went to school like a normal day,used my brother's fencing bag. It's a Thursday which means tie day but mr Neo ask us to wear half u so in the end we don't have to wear tie :) it's like, I dread thursdays seriously. Have to wear the tie for such a long day. It's the longest day among Monday to Friday. So sang the school song and board the bus around 8. Before school song, Sam pass us glucose for consuming before competition. Went to SPC to fetch my brother and went to clementi. Reach around 9+. then went there and saw some fencers already. The first person that really gets my attention was Donna Lim. And true enough, Re Ea tell me that she's a national fencer. So while waiting for the notice of which poules we will be fencing in, I was like praying hard that I won't fence her. Haha. In the end Yunan was the one who was in the same poule as her. Me and Re Ea was in the same poule. 6 fencers in a poule and I only won 2 bouts. First competition and I feel really terrible and scared. After that, waited for the direct elimination notice and I was up against a Indian girl who is also a left hander. Fenced with her and the final score was 14-15. If I win her, I will fence with the person who is rank 1. But since I took my height for granted, this is what I get. I lost in the end. Didn't even managed to be in top 16. Feel so super disappointed in myself. After that, kept cheering for my seniors. Seeing them crying seriously feel very sad. So.. In the end, only huan lin gets a trophy of 4th place(bronze) for C division. Next was B division girls' epee. Their competition starts at 2:30. So before that , alot of my seniors warn me about Anastasia karpova. But in the end, she belongs to the B division. We still thought that she didn't participate in this time round's competition. But in the end, she was thrashed by a girl from MGS named Christabel Yong and get a silver instead. After the competition, her father keep "lecturing" her. Is like, she already feel sad for not winning the competition and yet he still try to scold her for not winning? What a father. So had KOI after the whole thing end. Jessica won 4th place like Huan Lin. Gonna train like 10x harder for the next competition. Never shall I slack anymore. That's all for today.
